MVP Acquires Oil Pipeline and Trucking Assets

February 1, 2016

WICHITA, Kansas (February 1, 2016) – MVP Holdings, LLC (MVP) today announced that through several of its subsidiaries it has acquired certain crude oil pipeline, trucking, and marketing assets in Oklahoma and Kansas from affiliates of JP Energy Development LP for an undisclosed sum.

The assets include the Great Salt Plains Pipeline, crude oil trucks, and other associated crude oil midstream and marketing assets. The Great Salt Plains Pipeline is a 115-mile crude oil pipeline that transports crude oil from northwest Oklahoma, near Cherokee, to Cushing, Okla.

According to MVP President Gary Navarro, “This acquisition fits extremely well with our long-term vision of supporting independent oil and gas producers in the midcontinent, as well as extending and diversifying growth into Oklahoma and specifically into the STACK and SCOOP drilling areas of Oklahoma. These assets are currently in operation and enhance our crude oil footprint within both states.”
